I love how your family writes down and seals a letter to the Lord each year and when you open them up in the New Year, find out how your prayers and goals have been answered! You, your family and my new found friends, because of you, have truly been an inspiration to me this year. And, I feel, I have never been closer to the Lord since I have joined "The Challenge" and been a part of "Homecoming". Religion was never a part of my life growing up. The closest I came to having religion in my life was when I was living with Kirsten Woodard(née Brundahl) in 1985-1986. I went with her to her youth group meetings, once a week and a Bible Camp with her youth group. I still have the Bible I was given by the youth group leader, engraved with my name on it. It's survived 2 fires!! The last couple of years, I've felt a greater presence of God in my life, but it's never been strong enough to take notice........until, about 6 months ago, when I joined 100 Verses and Homecoming, and it's all been through you, that I have a stronger relationship with the Lord then I have ever had!! I know. You were merely the vessel through which the Lord worked. However, I owe you multitudes of thanks. If it wasn't for you starting these projects, my Bible would still be sitting on my shelf, collecting dust. My notebook I use to write my weekly Scriptures in would've remained empty, I wouldn't have 3 new, amazing ladies to call my friends and I wouldn't have you-an amazing woman, with the Lord's guiding hand, leading me to where I know, now, where I need to be: living and learning the amazing messages the Lord has for me. So, Diana, from the bottom of my soul.....Thank you. Thank you for allowing me to come on this wonderful journey. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for me in 2012. I can't wait to see how He is going to speak to me(through you) through the Scriptures and the road it will lead me down. You truly are an inspiration. <3<3Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
